TEV Jäger mbH - Master of the rotation spotlight since 1989
Cleaning equipment for solar systems
The TEV Jäger development philosophy
TEV Jäger always develops its pipe cleaning nozzles with the aim of achieving the lowest energy loss and the highest cleaning and removal performance, while at the same time ensuring a uniform cleaning result. This philosophy applies both to the use of rotor nozzles in manual cleaning processes and in automated systems.
Through ongoing research and development, TEV Jäger utilises innovative technologies and materials to continuously improve the efficiency and performance of pipe cleaning nozzles. This includes the optimisation of flow dynamics, material selection and design details in order to minimise energy loss while achieving maximum cleaning efficiency.
TEV Jäger's rotor nozzles are designed to deliver a powerful and precise cleaning action, whether they are used manually or integrated into automated cleaning systems. This ensures that customers in various applications can benefit from an efficient and reliable cleaning solution that fulfils the highest standards in terms of performance and quality.
TEV Jäger has state-of-the-art test benches available for development. These test benches are specially designed to determine all relevant parameters and enable pipe cleaning nozzles to be developed to a very high level of quality.
The test benches are equipped with advanced measurement technology that enables a wide range of pipe cleaning nozzle performance characteristics to be accurately recorded. These include pressure, flow rate, rotation speed, cleaning effect and removal rate. By precisely analysing these parameters, engineers at TEV Jäger can optimise the performance of the pipe cleaning nozzles and ensure that they meet the highest quality standards.
By utilising these state-of-the-art test rigs, TEV Jäger can ensure that their pipe cleaning nozzles meet customer requirements in terms of efficiency, reliability and durability. This enables them to offer innovative and high-quality cleaning solutions that meet the requirements of a wide range of applications.
The mechanics behind pipe cleaning nozzles
Our innovative pipe cleaning nozzle is made up of several components, including a pressure housing, a driving plug or nipple, a rotor, a bearing unit and recoil nozzles. The interaction of these parts enables the effective cleaning of pipes and ducts.
The process begins with high-pressure water being fed through a supply line into the drive plug or nipple. From there, the water exits through axially drilled holes to fill the pressurised housing. The high speed of the water flow forces the rotor into the bearing unit and seals it so that the water can only exit the housing via the rotor and the recoil nozzle.
The axial entry of the water creates a rotating field that causes the rotor to rotate. Due to its design, the rotor follows this rotating field, whereby the centrifugal force presses it against the pressure housing, creating a guided circular path.
This movement is transferred to the spot jet, which is generated by the water outlet via the rotor. This creates an effective, rotating spot jet that efficiently removes dirt and deposits.
While the rotating spot jet cleans, the recoil nozzles push the pipe cleaning nozzle forward in the pipe, ensuring synchronised cleaning work.
Overall, the pipe cleaning nozzle enables thorough and efficient cleaning of pipes and sewers thanks to the interaction of its various components and the rotating spot jet.
The variety of pipe cleaning nozzles in their design
Brass: Brass is often used for housings and certain parts of the pipe cleaning nozzle. It provides good corrosion resistance and mechanical strength and helps to stabilise the structure of the pipe cleaning nozzle.
Stainless steel: Stainless steel components are often used in pipe cleaning nozzles for their corrosion resistance and ability to withstand extreme pressures and temperatures. They are ideal for use in various environments, including aggressive chemicals and high temperatures.
